This Privacy Policy (hereinafter, "Policy") for SaveApp (which may be referred to as "We", "Us", "Our Product") describes how and what kind of information we collect and use about users (hereinafter, "You", "Your") when they use our Android application ("SaveApp", "the Application", "App"). By using SaveApp, You acknowledge and consent to the practices described in this Policy.

Information We Collect

SaveApp collects non-personally identifiable diagnostic data such as crash and performance reports. This information may include technical details about Your device, Android and Application version.
By default, this data is stored on Your device, You may choose to provide it to Us when asking for support.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to provide and improve our services to You, including:

  • Providing access to the features and functionalities of the Application
  • Communicating with You, including responding to Your inquiries and providing customer support
  • Enforcing our Terms of Service and other legal rights

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer Your personal information to third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes. However, We may share Your information with third-party service providers that assist us in providing the Application and its features (see the Google Drive section below). These third-party service providers are obligated to use Your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
Additionally, We may share Your information in the following circumstances:

  • With Your consent.
  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.
  • To protect Our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.

Where Do We Save Your Data

By default, all Your data is stored exclusively on Your device. You are solely responsible for it. If You install the Application using the Google Play Store, Your data may be backed up. You may delete all Your data by clearing the Application cache and memory. Please note, in this case, You will not be able to recover Your data in any way.

@ Google Drive

Since version 1.06, You may choose to save and restore Your data on/from Google Drive.
Using this feature, You will grant the Application permission to access application-specific data on Your Google Drive.
Application-specific data, which include the App's database (containing transactions, budgets, subscriptions and tags) and the settings file, will be stored in a specific directory (hereinafter, "Directory"), separated from the rest of Your storage.
SaveApp will not be able to access any of Your Google Drive data but that saved in the Directory.
The Application will use this data to provide You with the following features:

  • Upload a backup of SaveApp's data to Google Drive to store it in a device-independent location.
  • Restore a backup previously uploaded to Google Drive.

We will not share Your Google data, except in the cases above.
Once uploaded, You might delete the backup by clicking on:

  1. Google Drive
  2. Settings
  3. Manage apps
  4. SaveApp

Future Changes To This Policy

We may modify or update this Policy to better adapt it to SaveApp's changes. When We change this Policy, We will inform You through an update of the 'Date' notice. It is Your responsibility to review this Policy periodically to stay informed of any updates. Your continued use of the Application after any modifications to this Policy constitutes Your acceptance of those changes.
